Ever have a day when you just wish it was over? That was me at work today. It’s not that it was a bad day… it was just a long day with weirdness and chaos. Translated, people just always want something for nothing.
Thinking of ending the day doing a craft that I found on Pinterest a while ago… I’d actually bought the wreath well over a year ago and had ribbon on it but I never found the accessories that I wanted to put on it that suited me. So the new wreath looks like this:
It is one of those do-able wreaths where you just use yarn and a Styrofoam wreath. You cut out stars and glue them to the area where the blue yarn is. Seems simple and I am so the patriotic type (I share my birthday with George Washington!). In case you were interested in creating this masterpiece – here is the link: http://myfrugaladventures.com/2013/07/easy-diy-patriotic-wreath/.
Tomorrow I’ll add a photo of what MY wreath turned out like – have a happy Friday!
I have always wanted to make a wreath like this. I may have to try it out!
Also, I tagged you in a Q&A post on my blog! Check it out!

Alyssa – It took me a little over an hour to get the yarn wrapped around the Styrofoam “mold”… but I did it while I watched old episodes of “Friends” (it’s my Netflix binge-watching show presently – on season 9 I think… Paul Rudd is already on as Mike anyhow). The hardest part was guestimating if I was had an even amount of red and white yarn for the “stripes”. Then, when it appeared I would have 2 sections (2 red and a white) I made the last part blue. Sadly, almost a week later, I still have to cut out the stars… I foresee that happening soon, I did manage to head to my attic and get one of my scrapbooking tools out to cut them out – and I chose sparkly, sequinsy (is that a word?) paper so the stars will be blingy in the sun!
I will respond to your post on your blog before the night is over – thank you so much for choosing me!!!
